Over the Holidays, we received a beautiful box of sweet pears as a gift. In the box of six pears, one of them had a gold foil wrapping. Not sure i know all the reasons behind why Harry and David wrap just one pear, but it did make the gift more remarkable. In seeing two of these pears sitting side-by-side, kind of leaning into each other, I saw a simple story of the value of diversity and inclusion and how these two simple subjects can teach us all an important life lesson.
